De Montfort University 아트 파운데이션 특징
드몽포트 대학교에서 운영하는 아트 파운데이션 코스는 대학교 학사학위
과정에서 미술과 디자인 전공을 희망하는 학생들을 위한 코스입니다. 드몽포트 대학교는 1870년 Leicester School of Art로 개교한 150년이 넘는 역사를 가진 미술·디자인·미디어 분야에서 높은 평가를 받고 있는 대학교입니다. 2017년 영국
교육부가 심사한 Teaching Excellence Framework에서 드몽포트 대학교는 최고등급인
Gold를 받았습니다. 캠퍼스는 Leicester 시티센터에 위치하고 있으므로 기숙사, 스포츠, 식사, 쇼핑 등 학업기간 동안 생활이 편리합니다.
아트 파운데이션 기간 동안 목재, 금속, 석고, 플라스틱, 세라믹, 유리 등 다양한 재료를 사용하여 작품을 만드는 전문 트레이닝을 받게 되며, 여러
디자인 워크샵에도 참여할 수 있습니다. 또한 Mac/PC 플랫폼이
있는 IT 랩에서 디지털 디자인을 학습할 수 있습니다. 아트
파운데이션 기간 동안 제작한 포트폴리오는 연말 졸업전시회에 전시되며, 드몽포트 대학교의 미술·디자인·미디어 관련 전공 1학년으로
진학한 후 계속 연결하여 작업할 수 있습니다.
입학 시기 및 조건 (Entry Requirement)
- 수업 시작: 매년 10월 / 4월 수업 시작
- 입학 요건: 만 17세 이상, 고교 졸업 (검정고시 포함)이상의 학력, 포트폴리오
- 영어 성적: IELTS for UKVI Academic 6.0 (모든 요소 5.5 이상)
- 지원 시 제출서류: 여권 사본, 영문 고교졸업증명서/성적증명서, IELTS 점수, 자기소개서, 포트폴리오
- 지원서 데드라인: 특정 마감일 없이 선착순 지원
