Manchester Metropolitan University 아트 파운데이션 특징
맨체스터 메트로폴리탄 대학교에서 운영하는 아트 파운데이션 코스는
대학교 학사학위 과정에서 미술과 디자인 전공을 희망하는 학생들을 위한 코스입니다. 금속공예, 목공예, 사진 스튜디오 등 맨체스터 메트로폴리탄 대학교 미술대학의
전문 시설을 사용할 수 있으며, 맨체스터 메트로폴리탄 대학교의 미술대학은 영국내 미술대학 중 최대규모입니다. 특히 패션디자인 관련 전공은 수업기간 중 기업체 현장 실습이 포함되어 있습니다.
소규모 그룹으로 스튜디오 기반 프로젝트, 강의, 세미나, 현장
학습, 워크샵 등의 수업이 진행되며, 강사들과 정기적으로
일대일 지도를 받을 수 있습니다. 실제 아티스트와 디자이너들이 수업을 진행하고 있으며, 정규 교내 수업 이외에 디자인 스튜디오, 갤러리, 박물관 방문 등 교외 수업도 진행됩니다. 특히 영어수업은 최대 20명이 넘지 않은 규모로 진행됩니다.
2018-19년도에는 아트 파운데이션 코스 재학생 100%가 코스를 통과했으며, 84%의 학생이 맨체스터 메트로폴리탄 대학교로 진학했습니다.
입학 시기 및 조건 (Entry Requirement)
- 수업 시작:
매년 9월 / 1월 수업 시작
- 입학 요건:
만 17세 이상, 고교 졸업 (검정고시 포함)이상의 학력, 포트폴리오
- 영어 성적:
IELTS for UKVI Academic 5.0 (writing 요소 5.0 이상)
- 지원 시
제출서류: 여권 사본, 영문 고교졸업증명서/성적증명서, IELTS 점수, 자기소개서, 포트폴리오
