Kingston University 아트 파운데이션 특징

킹스턴 대학교에서 운영하는 아트 파운데이션 코스는 대학교 학사학위 과정에서 미술과 디자인 전공을 희망하는 학생들을 위한 코스입니다. 이 코스를 통해서 시각 커뮤니케이션, 입체 디자인, 패션 및 순수 미술에 대한 지식을 얻을 수 있으며, 다양한 작품 활동을 통해 디자인과 미디어 기술을 발전시키고 자신만의 창의적인 스타일을 개발할 수 있습니다.

실제 크리에이티브 산업에서 일하고 있는 강사들이 수업을 진행하고 있으며, 정규 교내 수업 이외에 디자인 스튜디오, 갤러리, 박물관 방문 등 교외 수업도 진행됩니다. 킹스턴 대학교 미술대학 나이츠 파크 캠퍼스 (Knights Park campus)의 우수한 시설을 사용할 수 있으며, 킹스턴 대학교 학사학위 과정 재학생들과 공동 프로젝트를 진행할 수 있습니다.

소규모 그룹으로 스튜디오 기반 프로젝트, 강의, 세미나, 현장 학습, 워크샵 등의 수업이 진행되며, 강사들과 정기적으로 일대일 지도를 받을 수 있습니다.

입학 시기 및 조건 (Entry Requirement)

- 수업 시작: 매년 9월 수업 시작

- 입학 요건: 만 17세 이상, 고교 졸업 (검정고시 포함)이상의 학력, 포트폴리오

- 영어 성적: IELTS for UKVI Academic 5.0 (모든 요소 4.5 이상)

- 지원 시 제출서류: 여권 사본, 영문 고교졸업증명서/성적증명서, IELTS 점수, 자기소개서, 추천서, 포트폴리오

- 지원서 데드라인: 선착순 지원으로 매년 5월 중순 마감

- Visual communication: graphic design, advertising, packaging, bookbinding, art direction, social design, film, illustration, animation, model making, curation

- 3D design: architecture, landscape architecture, interior, product, furniture, prop and set design

- Fashion and fabrication: menswear, womenswear, costume, fashion photography, constructed textiles

- Fine art: painting, mixed media, printmaking, installation, sculpture, performance, photography
