잉글랜드 북동부의 뉴카슬 어폰 타인(Newcastle Upon Tyne) 주에 위치한 긴 역사를 가진 노썸브리아 대학은 미국APPLE사의 수석부사장이며, 아이팟(iPod) 디자이너인Jonathan Ive가 졸업한 학교로 유명한 학교 입니다.

뿐만 아니라 뉴카슬은 뉴카슬 국제공항과 영국 전역을 연결하는 철도가 있어 훌륭한 국제적, 지역적인 교통의 요지입니다. 국제공항은 두바이, 런던, 파리 그리고 암스테르담으로 바로 연결되어 있습니다. 뉴카슬은 또한 영국에서 8번째로 안전한 대학 도시로 꼽히기 때문에 유학생들이 생활하기 적합한 환경을 가지고 있습니다.
